Solid gatefold cover, spine shows some fading, glossy finish on the cover shows some signs of scuffing, inner shows minor signs of age. Vinyl surface still retains a good sheen with some hairline scuffing.

Organist Jimmy Smith's 1964 album that reached No. 12 on the Billboard chart. Highlighting Smith on the Hammond B-3, "The Cat" has set has some tasteful big band arrangements by Lalo Schifrin and some other-worldly, distinctly feline playing by the great organist on a variety of blues-oriented material.
